Austin
Chapter
AMB's Texas capital chapter — midnight basketball, life skills, and community safety programming bringing real change to Austin's youth communities.
AMB in the Texas Capital
The Austin Chapter plants AMB's flag in the Texas capital — a city known for its culture and innovation, but also home to growing youth violence statistics and deepening opportunity gaps along racial and economic lines. AMB's late-night model addresses the specific hours when youth are most vulnerable: 8 PM to 1 AM, when most youth programs have closed their doors.
The Austin Chapter operates as part of AMB's Texas two-chapter network alongside Beaumont — together extending the national model's impact deep into the Lone Star State. Basketball is the hook; life skills, education, and community connection are the mission.
