AMB Comes to Los Angeles
Launched in April 2025, the Los Angeles Chapter is one of AMB's most exciting new additions — bringing the organization's 38-year proven model to America's second-largest city. With enormous need and an equally enormous opportunity to serve, LA represents a major expansion of AMB's California footprint.
Led by California State Director Jumall Hill, the LA Chapter joins Oakland, Stockton, Palmdale, Lancaster, and Antioch in delivering coordinated, statewide programming that changes lives.

Midnight Basketball League
Late-night competitive leagues providing a safe, structured alternative for LA youth during peak crime hours.
Life Skills Workshops
Pre-game sessions covering employment, financial literacy, conflict resolution, and career readiness.
Education Pathways
GED prep, LA community college connections, and vocational training referrals for participants.
Police Engagement
Structured LAPD youth-engagement dialogue and joint programming to strengthen community trust.
Violence Prevention
SCARED STIFF curriculum and community health resources addressing LA's youth violence crisis.
California Network
Part of a 6-chapter California network sharing resources, best practices, and statewide impact.
