Oakland
Chapter
Serving Oakland youth since 2008 — one of AMB's longest-running California chapters, delivering basketball leagues and life skills programming in the heart of the East Bay.
Midnight Basketball Comes to Oakland
The Oakland Chapter has been a cornerstone of AMB's California presence since 2008. Operating in one of the Bay Area's most historically underserved communities, the chapter delivers late-night programming that keeps youth safe, engaged, and empowered during the hours when crime peaks.
Led by California State Director Jumall Hill, the Oakland Chapter is a centerpiece of AMB's six-chapter California network — connecting youth to resources, mentors, and pathways to employment and education.
